This screencast is about using course management system Moodle. It’s free Open Source software package to help educators create effective online learning communities.

Moodle has a large and diverse user community with over 130,000 registered users on this site alone, speaking over 75 languages in over 160 countries.

Using Moodle is quite simple for pupils, but there are some things you must know to use Moodle effectively as an educator.

Screencast: Excel: Subtotals

This screencast is about using Subtotals in Excel. It’s recommended, that you know how to sort data in Excel, but it is not necessary to understand Subtotals. Subtotals are used to find a sum (count, average, maximum, minimum, etc…) of values for some group of data. We start with simple subtotal exercise and go on with multiple subtotals in one table. Subtotals also provide good data viewing opportunity by showing/hiding some group of data.
